Empress Effects Tremolo2 Tremolo Guitar Effects Pedal (EMP-TREM)

Product Overview

An original design by Empress Pedals, the Empress Tap Tremolo is an exceptional blend of analog signal path under digital opto control. Its high-quality sound, free from the typical "LFO throb" found in most tremolos, sets it apart. The Empress Tap Tremolo's selection of waveforms and unique features offer musicians unparalleled sonic versatility.

Measuring approximately 4.5" by 3.5" by 1.5", the Empress Trem's compact size makes it a perfect addition to any pedalboard. Experience the ultimate in tremolo versatility with the Empress Tap Tremolo.

Features

  • Waveform Selection: Choose between three different waveforms. The asymmetrical tremolo, modelled after a '65 Fender Vibrolux, for a rich, full tremolo sound. The square wave for a hard, edgy sound, or the triangle wave for a more traditional tremolo.

  • Tap Tempo: Synchronize the tremolo to your music by averaging your last four taps. Select different tap-to-tremolo rate ratios, including 1:1, 1:2, and 1:4 for varied rhythmic options.

  • Two Speed Mode: A feature exclusive to Empress Trem. Set two different rates and switch between them using the tap tempo stompswitch, similar to the experience of playing through a Leslie cabinet and adjusting the speed.

  • Rhythms: Create unique sonic textures with the ability to set different rhythmic patterns, extending beyond traditional tremolo sounds.

  • Gain: Solves the typical volume drop problem associated with many tremolos, offering up to 6dB of gain without distorting the signal.

  • True Bypass: Ensures that the pedal isn't affecting the signal when not in use.
