This pickup began its story in 1948 at Harold DeArmond, referred to as Rhythm
Chief 1000, which is the basis for the Gretsch Deltolux. Implemented by
Gretsch here as a soundhole version for steel string guitars (western
guitars), with the operation of an electric guitar pickup, which brings the
advantage of more warmth in the sound, compared to the usual built-in piezo
pickup, which always sounds slightly pointed. Features: - Easy to assemble,
suitable for most soundholes, magnetic pickup suitable for steel string
guitars.
